  1. I think that those three responses should already by a routine portion of a healthy mentoring relationship. However, we’re all human, and sometimes things don’t follow an ideal path, so, the next best thing would be to implement one or more of those actions. Great reminder. Like thinking about our own death, most of us prefer to deny the possibility of our mentoring relationship coming to an end.
