We’re not quite out of this one yet, but it’s time to think about how your company will survive the next recession. Look at what companies are doing to make it through this time around. For those in the hard-hit auto industry, it’s been eco-friendly cars like the Toyota Prius and the Honda Insight, which are racking up sales despite the recession. Many companies are now playing catch up as they launch the environmentally friendly products the market demands.
To get ahead of the game, think through coming environmental trends and impending pressures. Ask tough questions, like “what if we used no water?” to get innovative juices flowing. Lastly, use a green lens to evaluate new products to be sure you’re offering what’s needed in the future.
